The curriculum
The factory is an arrangement of specialized machinery. These five pages teach the machines — one each — and they are ordered so that every page can assume the one before it. Every one ends in a falsification table: the claims it makes, the command that would disprove each one, and what that command should print. Run them.
"If the model is doing the work, what exactly am I building?"
The answer that the harness — not the model — is the product, and where each box of the old software lifecycle actually goes once agents are doing the typing. Start here if you have used a coding agent and found it fast but not compounding.
"I have capabilities, skills, tools and agent cards. What happens when I combine them?"
Two operators, a zero, and a suite of property-tested laws — plus three counterexamples where the laws still do not hold, one of which you can reproduce in your browser tab by pressing a button. The runtime on that page is the real compose.mjs, inlined unmodified.
"Everyone says AI factory. What would actually make one compound?"
The load-bearing page. What the term already means to three different industries, why parallel agents alone do not compound, and an arithmetic model showing that unboxing without checked joins is faster and wrong at exactly the same rate. Introduces Worldware as a category.
"Nobody can read all of this. What replaces the review queue?"
Property tests over 2000 trials, certificates that carry their reasons, and the arithmetic of what N random trials actually buys you — including the uncomfortable part, which is that a passing suite is evidence of rarity and never of absence.
"What does a world cost, and what can you charge for once you ship one?"
Where a world beats a repository and a CI pipeline and where it does not — two of six shapes favour the incumbent. The bounded semantic layer that makes the differentiated part of a world nearly free. A sizing calculator with published formulas. And four line items that are hard to bill for when you ship a repo.
MODULE_NOT_FOUND, which on a page whose contract is run the command would be the worst
available defect. Counts are derived by the suites that produce them and are never hand-typed, because a
published count and a printed count drifted apart exactly once and that was enough.
Which machine, which page
Eleven of the eighteen cells have no masterclass. That is stated rather than padded — a curriculum that claimed to cover the whole floor would be the first thing on this site to fail its own falsification test. The seven that are covered are the seven the join argument depends on.
